CHILE, Santiago, gold bust 8 escudos, Ferdinand VI, 1751 J, NGC UNC details / obv scratched (Shipwreck Blue Label), ex-Sotheby's. Cal-824; KM-3; Fr-3. 27.03 grams. Rich gold color with muted luster but bold details except for very centers (as usual), tiny lamination flaw below king's ordinal and light arc-shaped scratch under king's name. With certificate and original flyer from the Sotheby's Uruguayan Treasure of the River Plate auction of March 1993. Recovered from: Luz, sunk in 1752 off Montevideo, Uruguay
